Transit Owners Share the Love as Ford Belgium Hosts Ultimate Pro Event at Lommel

LOMMEL, Belgium – Ford Transit owners from across Flanders, Belgium, explain what their vehicles mean to them in this video recorded at a recent Ultimate Pro event at Lommel Proving Ground.

Around 10 owners and their business partners brought their vehicles to Ford’s test facility to share their Transit experiences, meet key members of the Ford Pro team in Belgium, and drive Ford’s current commercial vehicle range. As an added bonus, guests also got to experience some hot laps in Focus ST and Mustang, too.

Patrick Van der Aa, Sales and Marketing Director, Ford Belux, explains: “Transit is crucial for many people, especially many small businesses…. This is how we create a community where people can exchange ideas with the community itself, as well as exchange ideas with Ford which is very important to us.”

On arrival, guests were given an introduction to Lommel Proving Ground, including a track tour to see where Transits undergo durability tests. They also were treated to a trip down memory lane with a special presentation looking back on 59 years of Transit history.
